RETRACTED ARTICLE: Synchronization Methods of Multiple High Frame Rate Industrial Cameras Using a General-Purpose Computer

Technologies such as identification, detection, and measurement based on multiple industrial cameras have developed vigorously. Most of these technologies require synchronized video signals from cameras, thus a general method synchronization has always been an important research direction. To reduce error hardware cost the existing multi-vision sensor methods, multiprocessing or multithreading techniques, this paper designs three synchronous capture schemes for different application scenarios. The proposed are tested example system with highest frame rate 600FPS. For long-time low rate, read–write structure is multiprocessing, which makes lower than reciprocal when 200FPS. short-time high read-storage-write used errors be about 1 ms 600FPS (theoretically ~ 1000FPS). relieve memory usage pressure structure, read-cache-write multiprocessing/multithreading, less Experimental results show that provides promising accurate low-cost solution camera applications.
